Andrew J. Cohen is Chairman and founder of Cohen Commercial Properties, LLC and its related entities. A leader in the retail shopping center industry, Mr. Cohen has spearheaded the transition of CCP into a fully diversified real estate firm specializing in retail shopping centers. CCP’s vast experience and services include investments, property management, leasing brokerage and sales brokerage.

Mr. Cohen is an owner and operator of an extensive portfolio of retail shopping center and office properties located throughout the Eastern and Midwest United States with an emphasis in the Southeast. The investment portfolio consists of 17 properties located across 12 states. Property management services for the investments as well as third party properties are provided by CCP affiliates wholly owned by Mr. Cohen.

The origins of the firm date back to 1991 in coordination with the founding of the sales brokerage operation, Cohen & Co., Inc. Real Estate (CCIRE). Today, CCIRE is one of the leading real estate brokerage firms specializing in shopping center properties in the US. Since its inception, CCIRE has facilitated more than $5 billion in transaction value relating to the sale of properties located across the country.

Mr. Cohen is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), and has been active in various charitable endeavors for many years. In 2007, he founded the Andrew J. Cohen Family Foundation, a charitable trust, to continue those efforts.
