Roger Lowenthal is Managing Director and joined Cohen & Company, Inc. Real Estate in 2011. With more than ten years of experience, Mr. Lowenthal has successfully executed numerous commercial transactions throughout the United States.

Having worked for real estate investment firms, most recently at Brookfield Asset Management, Mr. Lowenthal has direct experience in the acquisition and disposition of commercial properties nationally and has developed expertise in real estate valuation, leasing, negotiation, financial analysis, and the investment sales process. In addition to these experiences, Mr. Lowenthal has previously worked as a tenant representative and consummated over a hundred leasing transactions on behalf of his retail clientele, earning their continued respect through consistent communication, detailed analysis and an effective negotiation style. Previous transactions have been completed with national REITS, local real estate investment firms and private individuals.

Mr. Lowenthal holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia Business School. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
